Preface
These articles were written between 1991,March until 1992 Novenber in the monthly
"Natural Food News" as part IV of the series called "Tabemono-gaku" opp."Food-ology"(for lack of a better translation in English).

Under the series of "foodology", part one was the entrance guide into the science of "foodology" and was published between the years 1985 'till 86.
This was followed by;
Part II Carnivores Will Cause the Destruction of Earth (1987-88)
Part III Agricultural Method Based on Nature (1989-91)
Part IV Chinese Cannibalism ( 1991-92)
Part V Drugs-Satan's Medicine (1993-94)
Part VI "Food Control"-where is it leading us to? Tenjyugaku as a Solution (1994-96)
Part VII Japanese Style Food Culture (1996-98)
Part VIII Resurrection of Real Japan (1998-2000)
Part IX Japanese Traditional Cuisine Can Save the World (2000-2002)
Part X Setsusho Nikushoku Kindanrei Japanese Imperial Decree
"Forbidden; the destruction of life and its consumption"(2002-'til
present)
As I try to explore the possible entry through "foodology" into the realm of Tenjyugaku,
I realized that similar concepts do not exist in the West.
Therefore given the fact that post-Meiji Restoration has transformed Japan literally into a snake pit of anti-patriotic, profit-mongering disinformation obsessed academics, profoundly shaped by the Satanic Illuminati ideology of the Judea Free-Masonic West,
that there be no space in the institutions for the teaching of these themes like "foodology". Instead what we have now is such misleading informations under the guise of "nutrition"(when is food not a nutrient!-at the very least it should be) and useless data like "calorie-counting"(the scientific approach).
In 1979, I the author, started to practice the concept of whole grains based vegetarianism together with on under-eating (as opposed to excess or even just adequate).
After that, I wrote the following books (among others).
1980 "The Revolution of Life and Existence"
1981 "Revolutionizing Sexual Identity; questioning the traditional concept of Feminism"
1983 "Food Revolutionaries of Japan"
1985 "For the Total Abolition of a Hierarchical Social Order; against both animal and human slavery"

The five main points of "Foodology" are as follows:
1) All existence lives under a cosmic food law of the universe.
2) But human beings by becoming carnivores, violate this invisible law.
3) Especially the process of the "domestication of animals for food" has not only caused the violation of this law but has plummeted mankind towards the way of self-destruction as well.
4) Hence mankind must reorganize its "eating-pattern" back to what it should be.
5) "Foodology" is an entrance towards that direction.

This is a book that deals mainly with the history of cannibalism in China.
This is not about some rare instances in the history of mankind, wherein due to
food shortage, some other means of radical maintenance had to be endured.
>From about two thousand if not three thousand years ago until 1912, (when Revolution caused the last Imperial dynasty to become terminated) cannibalism, or the consumption of human meat was a socially accepted alternative choice within their diet in China.
They were not doing this in secrecy or through some black market dealings.
It is officially recorded in their history.
Records can be found in "seishi" 正史- official history of China.
But despite that, this concept is hardly ever discussed in Japan, even among so called "China -experts".
This despite the fact that recently a Taiwanese writer residing in Japan, has written a book called "The Cursed Chinese ." by Um Bunhyu 呪われた中国人 黄 文雄(Japanese pronunciation would be Ko Bunyu, and just to stick to the original that is how he would be referred to throughout this article)where this fact is stated, and that it should be more noted for the Japanese in order to comprehend China and its history better.
But even after the publication of a book like this wherein cannibalism is both explained and emphasized upon, neither the Academia nor the public seem to take notice of this fact.
The Japanese has always ignored this aspect of the Chinese history and it appears to be that trend -of rejecting what can not be comprehended automatically, and bypassing the logical steps in order to comprehend it-, continues.
This bad Japanese habit must be reformed.
For this defect is actually quite fatal, and it is not just towards the Chinese that the Japanese in large have it.
They have it towards India, the West, the Islamic worlds and finally, towards a collective knows as Judea, Jews, Hebrews or Israel as well.
It seems as if the Japanese has almost a dangerously infantile block, that they themselves are unable to detect, let alone explain, in comprehending the existence of cultural differences.
They rush to mental conclusions bypassing the process of logical deduction.
There is a Japanese saying that the crab digs the hole appropriate for the size of his shell. It is also known as 島国根性― a typical "island"er reflex.
They stabilize and homogenize their island life-style basis and judge the rest of the World(worlds) on this rigid and absolute standard.
And they are unable to grasp the dangerous foolishness of this system.

After the Chinese communistic take-over, Ko Ransei 胡 蘭成the Chinese writer (1906-1981) who had associations with the former 王兆銘 dynasty, came to Japan seeking asylum.
He stated that;
-the Japanese has produced its own unique civilization but that civilization is still at the level of “jo-cho” 情緒 (a perculiarly Japanese concept and a key word in understanding
its culture, but is a word that is almost untranslatable. Oka Kiyoshi 岡 潔 famous Japanese mathmatican and winner of Imperial Chrysanthemum Award for culture, stated that "jocho" 情緒 is non-existent in the West. Here it probably means in the level of instinct and emotion. The larger concept of that woud implies that cosmic enegy/thought from which nihil is negated into creation. That same energy/thought that binds universe into existence) and has not yet produced its own independent theory, hence has yet to provide itself with a written structural system that culture can base its uniqueness on.
These thoughts can be found in his books like “日本及び日本人に寄せる”(Dedicated to Japan and to the Japanese) “天と人との際”(Between the threshold of heaven and humans).
He has really pointed out the crux of the matter. According to Ko Ransei the introduction of Buddhism into Japan hindered the development of Japan's own unique
civilization to become theorized.
He is quite right in this matter.
Since the 推古朝 the dynasty under Suiko Emperor, until the 足利幕府期 Ashikaga Bakufu period (also known as Muromachi to Kamakura periods) Japan has been influenced by China and Japan has always adored its accomplishments.
And they seem to have been unable to accept this part of Chinese history relating to cannibalism This shows how shallow, biased and bigoted they were in understanding another culture.
A human being eating another human being is abnormal.
It is an act of highest abnormality.
What kind of "culture" is it, that includes that abnormality as a part of its culture...
There has been past Japanese scholars mentioning this aspect but even then it has been handled rather fleetingly and not in any conclusive manner.
This book may be the first attempt at understanding and analyzing cannibalism in China in its entirety.
(A good point of reference is by Jitsuzou Kuwahara 桑原 隲蔵, in the book “東洋
文明史論叢“Collective theories regarding the Hisotry of Oreintal Civilization---there is an article called
"シナ人間に於ける食人肉の風習": The Habit of Human Consumption in China, written in 1925.)

The section, Chapter VI of this book by Ohta has the heading of “シャ(焼き肉)、
ホジシ(乾し肉)、シシビシオ(塩漬け肉)“ Roasted, dried or salted; three different ways of meat preservation.
As part of the front cover, it is written that Confucius was fond of human meat and proceeds with the following three kanjis
that denotes the three standard variety of meat preservation. Judging from the shape of the kanjis which are unavailable on a standard
Japanese computers, it is possible that these are kanjis specifically reserved for human meat.
The original kanjis, for reason explained before can not be printed out but it is a different kanji form the ones utilized to denote the meat of the beasts.

The first recorded dynasty of China is called Ka 夏、and although its existence has not been verified and known as the kingdom of illusion/legend. Cannibalism is already recorded there.
The 殷 dynasty is said to be the first dynasty with tangible proof and generally accepted as the first official start.

According to 史記 the official history book of China :
From the first emperor of the Shin 秦 dynasty until the final emperor of the Shin
清 dynasty there has been 209 emperors within a time period of two thousand and hundred years. Out of which 63 ( a third or so) has been assassinated or committed suicide. 24 emperors ( or 16%) have died between the age of 1 and 20, theoretically as minors. The average longevity of these 209 emperors is 38 years.
The amount of princes, relatives of the imperial household, and other family members killed during the change of dynasty or regime is said to be tens, if not hundreds times more. So there was constant bloodshed first to gain the imperial position, and then a continuous struggle in order to maintain that position. And thousands of people ended up involved in these struggles.
Hence the sole interest of the regime became that of survival.
Which means that the governmental power was concentrated only in the struggle to gain assurance for the survival of its regime. If not, one‘s head could fall any moment and one could end up as a piece of dried or salted meat for the opponent's table.
According to Ko, (quoted from the same book "The Cursed Chinese") "There has been no agricultural improvement so to speak for the (last) two thousand years....(concepts like) industrial revolution, capital investments can hardly said to have appeared in China."
It is as if the whole energy of the Chinese has been dissipated in this struggle for physical survival, and to avoid becoming the victim of cannibalism.

>From Chapter 19 "The Chinese Imperial System has been abolished, but....."
With the Revolution of 1912 the 清国 was officially terminated and thus ended the more than two thousand years of the Chinese Imperial Dynasties.
And the six major points that distinguished this particular period of history were;
1) the absolute power of the Emperor
2) the ennuch system
3) rote-learning based public competitions
4) the binding of the female feet
5) the culture of cannibalism
6) the balance between China and the "barbarians", the aliens outside the mural confinements of an Empire and
the world within that confinement.

These, theoretically would become also dissolved like the Imperial lineage and its corresponding social structures.
They do disappear from the official stage.
Does that mean that cannibalism which had been supported by an official public structure also dissolved itself with no residues?
The above mentioned points were accepted and continued, precisely because it corresponded to the needs of the society of the period. Otherwise it would not have taken roots.
Hence is the pre-1912 China and the post 1912 Communistic China, are they the same culture or not....

, When Hawaii became the target of U.S. intervention, The Meiji Emperor was approached by the Hawaiian King regarding the following issues:
1) if there was any possibility to have an arranged marriage between their lineage and Japan's in order to create a family alliance, and in such a way that Hawaii becomes a part of Japan in order to prevent domination by the“white”United States,
2) and that the Empire of Japan, take on a more active role as a head of Asia and to take more of an initiative in preventing the “white" Western world from total domination.
To that, Meiji Emperor's response was;
1)China (then 清国) would never allow Japan to have that kind of position in Asia,
2)Japan just does not have that kind of capability to spread its boundary so far.
For these reasons, Meiji Emperor declined the offer from the Hawaiian royalty.
What happened later, is history as they say...

For a while after the Meiji Restoration, Japan felt that China should be the main position of and for Asia.
The feeling of reverence towards China was strong and it still lingers even today.
But reality betrayed Japan's expectations.
It was total chaos and defeat of the 清dynasty in China, after the Opium War(1839-42). China seemed to have been utterly defeated and vanquished towards the dominating white forces of the West.
Japan realized if the situation is left as is, then sooner or later China would be completely overrun under the Western Empire and Japan will be encircled by the approaching Western powers and would be left with the choice of non-conditional surrender and be splintered. Existing as an autonomy no-more. This was one of the moments of a genuine and threatening crisis of Japan.
And to compound the problem, the Opium War brought forth a new class of Chinese.

That of売弁class.
These are the Chinese that for the sake of profit and private advantage, will willingly
sell themselves as the private agents for the Western conglomerate.
The most powerful of them、is the Lee dynasty based in Shang-Hai with their industries.
At that time Japan, for self-defence, took Taiwan, part of Korea and proceeded towards Manchuria.
If Japan did not do that, then Taiwan would be dominated by either England or the States; Korea and China by Russia or the U.S.S.R ; and eventually Hokkaido would become part of Russia; the Southern islands like Okinawa, Ogasawara etc. would have been taken one by one. So that mainland Japn too would eventually fall to the higgest or the most powerful bidder of that moment.

If that had occured, then the destiny of the non-white people on earth (the majority) is to end up basically as slaves to the -basically white empire of that time.

The final chapter, Chapter 22, of the book deals with this question.
Would the day return wherein a govenment sponsered public act of cannibalism becomes a reality once again?

Given the factors of industrialization, destruction of Nature, over-population, abuse of natural resources, it may become a reality.
This chapter comments on this so-called science-fiction, or simulation based novel called“黄禍” Yellow Peril, not yet published in Japan but released in Canada and Taiwan simultaneously in 1991, under a pseudonym. For the writer is said to be a member of the government and after the Tinnanmen Square incident, went into hiding for ten months to complete this novel of fifty thousand words (Chinese or English words, I am not certain.. probably Chinese..)
It deals with a future civil war within China.
Another work of thei genre is by a British journalist Simon Winchester, titled“太平洋の悪夢ー日本に再び原爆が投下される日,極東に於ける第三次世界大戦” "The nightmare of the Pacific- the day atom bombs will fall on Japan and the beginning of the Third World War"(original title not known) is yet another scenario of destruction headed by China and dragging other countries like Japan into its chaos.

It seems that the topic of cannibalism in China, is a taboo in Japan.
But taboos has to be broken in order to proceed forward.
True facts are facts and must be incorporated for future understanding.
Cannibalism is supposed to have been abolished in 1912.
Since it is no longer official it is hard to say if it continues and how frequently or rarely that kind of act has occurred.
During the internal Chinese revolution of 1945-49, human meat has been found in the food supply from the Communist party's prisoners of war.(国府軍the loyalist-traditionalist side )This is from 中国人民文学出版社刊 星火燎原 第十巻。
How is it under the Communist regime?
During the Cultural Revolution according to the Memoir of Ryou Tekigenn 陵 荻原、who was the former leader of 紅衛兵(Red Army), starving people ate human flesh.
(Once again from the book "The Cursed Chinese".)
Unknown to the rest of the world, cannibalism may still be continuing in China.

Final Comment
The Taiwanese writer 黄 文雄 (Japanese proninciation Ko Bunyu, Chinese pronunciation Un Bunhyon) author of the book “The Cursed Chinese”, writes the following in his book.

“the country the Japanese like the best is the United States, followed by China.
Two-thirds of the Japanese people, are fond of China. Yet the Japanese have no idea what China is all about."(pg.3)
Mr.Ko-黄氏 is very right. Not only does the Japanese not know China, they have the tendency to idealize China as some beautiful, perfect, cultural matrix to all.
Same thing can be said about the Japanese people' s image towards the United States of America, and everything represented by that image.
Also from the preface from the same book;

" Three years after my arrival in Japan, (he came in 1964) there was another Cultural Revolution in China.
紅衛兵(The Red Guard or the Chinese Army), under the direction of Mao was commanded to attack the main headquarters of the Communist Party (中国共産党指導部). And they did.
With hundred thousands starving, the so called "Great Progress"(大躍進) failed and Mao as the Chairman was a positional jeopardy. This was his answer to the critics.
It is just another repetition of power struggle within the Chinese history.
It immediately led to civil unrest-war and until the Military regained its power that internal unrest lasted for a decade and led to the death of several thousands.
Here in Japan, the journalists and scholars applauded and called this so-called Cultural Revolution as "The Great Historical Experimentation for Opening Up the Future of Mankind".

"They were all parroting what the Chinese newspapers wrote and swallowing the official line as the truth."
Meanwhile back in China, a continuous relay of power struggle was occurring between the "Cultural Revolutionaries"(文革派) and the "Progressive Capitalists“( 走資派).
In 1971 the official heir to Chairman Mao, was Rin Byou 林 虎 who was also the torch carrier for the Cultural Revolution, and was at that time the Vice Chairman of the Party as well. He lost. So overnight he became from being "one of Chairman's closest wartime comrade" into a "traitor".
In 1974 Mao's close associates who will later on be called "The Gang of Four" started the“批林批孔”(Anti-Rin, anti-Confucius)movement. They criticized Rin Byou as well as Confucius. Under the slogan of Anti-Confucius, they criticized the then current Chairman Chou En Lai 周恩来.
"The Gang of Four" equated the current regime as being as traditional as "Confucianism and Cannibalism".
"The Chinese newspapers like “人民日報”(The People's Daily New) or “解放軍報”(Liberation Army News-both government's official publications) were full of this slogan
"儒教=人食い“(Confucianism=Cannibalis). This, Confucianism equals cannibalism reflects the theories of Go Gu 呉 虞(1874~1949) who was the philosophical leader. of the 5.4 May 4th cultural movement.
But the Japanese newspapers and magazines hardly ever commented on this aspect."

Perhaps the Japanese journalists were not comprehending that cannibalism is one of the basis of traditional Chinese culture, and could not comprehend the meaning behinds this slogan and hence were unable to understand the message."

About the rote-learning public competition
This is from chapter 7 “The history of China has been nothing more than history of
genocide against each other"

Once again quoting from Mr. Ko's “The Cursed Chinese", it is claimed that the Chinese are unable to maintain order in public. Thus riots are bound to occur. (pg.204)
Within an organization, order is maintained.
But, once outside in public, everyone else become their enemy.
When a bus stops, people cram to the center ignoring the need of the passengers who are trying to exit the bus. No queue, no waiting or the concept of taking turns.
If a public is unable to maintain self-order, then military and police intervention becomes inevitable. Otherwise the result will be chaos and destruction.
This is talking about the common level, so how about the “intellectuals”....
“The intellectuals of China, due to over a thousand years of rote-learning based public competition (this sysytem was officially decreed in 587A.D. and continued 'till 1912 if not even now) has lost the habit of utilizing their own brain to think for themselves." (pg.154)
This is a serious problem.
The fate of a populace dominated by that kind of "intellectuals" can only be tragic.
Until the Edo period, the Japanese governmental body has consistently rejected this educational system. And wisely so. Other we were not able to reject the MaCarthy imposed Dewey-based American co-educational system imposed on us after WWII.

Academic competition with this kind of mechanical memory basis has caused China to have candidates that start their training very young and to finally pass in their 50's, and even at age 60 or so.
And apparently there were quite a number of candidates like that, meaning that they were not some exceedingly rare and exceptional cases.
In order to pass within a system like that, no personal opinion is required. It was simply a question of swallowing the whole of 四書五経 (four scrolls and five prayers )and its official interpretation and spitting it back as accurately as possible.
Hence the emphasis over education in China was not the one wherein initiative and originality was emphasized, but rather on how to convince and condition into the public what the dominating class demanded.
This tradition has managed that all the Chinese (from top to bottom) lose their capacity to think using their very own mind.
It has been said that in order to dominate and unify a 100 million Chinese, an absolute dictatorship was a necessity. That is a commonly accepted premise here in Japan, but perhaps that is a rather shallow way of comprehending the situation of China.

Japan adored and still does adore and respect China.
The root of many elements within the Japanese culture, are derived form China or at least via China.
But there is a fundamnetal difference here as well. Those six points that marked the Imperial Chinese cultural hallmarks were the ones that Japan
rejected as well. (The absolute power of the Emperor is a post Meiji Restoration occurence based on the Western monotheistic
religion and Monarchy systems; no ennuck system was established here nor binding of the women's feet..and so on)
But the hallmark that distinguishes Jpanese culture, at least did until the assassination of Komei Empeoro and 'til Meiji Restoration is this:
"Setsusho Nikushoklu Kindnarei".

So what exactly is "Setsushou Nikushoku Kindanrei"
殺生肉食禁断令
It is an Imperial decree that occured four times from around the Nara Period 'till the beginning of Hei-an Period.
Officially for the first time by the fourtieth Tenmu Emperor (Imperial date 673-686A.D.), followed by the fourty-fourth Meishou Emperor
and fourty-fifth Seitoku Emperor and finally by the fiftieth Kanmu Emperor.(Imperial date 781-806A.D.).

"I、the author, noticed a statement written by George Osawa(of Macrobiotic fame) wherein how under Kanmu Emperor there was this decree forbidden the destruction of other creatures and how this has been repeated throughout history.
I became intrigued and decided to investigate the original writings. By doing so I realized that it actually originated with Emperor Tenmu. And it has been repeated four times. The last one during the reign of Emperor Kanmu.
The most important ones are by Tenmu and Shoumu Emperors which commands one to release all trapped (caged) animals. The philosophy for Life, of live and let live.
"No Possesion nor Consumption of these Creatures, and Penalty to those who Disobey" were these
decrees.

There has been no official imperial decree issued yet to anull these.

Meiji government has issued statements that would counteract/contradict these decrees .
But it is from the government, not by the Imperial household.
This concept continued from Tenmu Emperor until the death (assasination) of Koumei
Emperor in Decenber of 1866 (second year of the Keio period).
In January of fith year of the Meiji reign,1873 Meiji Emperor ate beef.
So this decree that lasted about twelve hundred years was broken by the Meiji government.
It made the official anoucement that from that day on meat of beasts were acceptable for human
cpnsumption-like the Westerners residing in Japan.
They brought cattles claiming that the white race perishes without beef consumption.
The decree by Tenmu not just prohibits fishing and hunting but specifically states that
牛 (cows, bulls) 馬(horses) 犬(dogs) 猿(monkeys) 鶏(chickens) and シシ-too antique of a kanji that
one can not automatically print out(a kanji that the computer does not possess)
an old Japanese kanji-denoting any meat from a beast,(mammelian creatures?) to be left alone.
Priets from the Shinto shrines and other related associates, at the risk of death,
attempted to enter the Koukyo(Imperial residence) to plea with the Meiji Emperor
to think again what his behaviour would imply, and to revive the mentality of these
Imperial Decrees prohibiting that kind of action.
They never suceeded.
They were met by the Military and fired upon.
One died, many were injured, arrested and put on trial.
What kind of a Japanese government is that and what kind of representative of genuine or so-called traditional Japan, is that kind of an Emperor?

>From the moment of Koumei Emperor's assasination, the real Japan has been dissipated and destroyed on purpose, by the creation of taboos.
These are just some of them.
The cover up over this crime as well as the termination of an Imperial Decree that lasted over twelve hundred years until the regime of
the Meiji Emperor, these are some of the taboos poisoning the mentality of the Japanese people.
Taboos are mental-strait jacket and must be confronted and released.
